The Bullants major fundraiser will be held at the Darebin Arts & Entertainment Centre on Friday July 10. Thanks to a number of club sponsors and supporters we are able to source some great items and auction them off to our audience.

PAST PLAYERS DAY
The NAB Northern Bullants will be hosting its Past Players Day on Sunday August 2 at NAB Oval Preston.
To commemorate the occasion, the senior team will be wearing a Heritage Guernsey with the old 'PFC' replacing the Bullant. The 'PFC' of course stands for the Preston Football Club. The guernsey will form just a small token of the club's respect for its past whilst also demonstrating the club's position as one of the great Preston icons.
This 2009 season marks a unique year as the club, formerly known as the Preston Bullants, celebrates its 40-year and 25-year celebration of the 1969 and 1984 Premiership wins and also it marks the 20-year anniversary of the 1989 Thirds Premiership win.
The senior match will be a clash between the Bullants and Collingwood's VFL side. The clash throwing up its own piece of history as Preston was in the past Collingwood's zoning area thus resulting in Preston greats of the past Laurie Hill, Ray Shaw and much more representing Collingwood.
All supporters will be invited to attend an aftermatch function in the Preston Football Club Social Club where we will further celebrate our past players and provide supporters with the opportunity to bid for the heritage guernseys worn on the day.

BULLANTS STAND UP FOR ENVIRONMENT
The NAB Northern Bullants have become ambassadors for the Live Green with LESS project as it is rolled out in the City of Darebin.
The project will see local Darebin residents eligible to receive free high quality energy-saving light globes and water saving showerheads and have them installed absolutely free.
The project being offered by Low Energy Supplies and Services (LESS) has already been successfully rolled out in Glen Eira, Kensington, Yarra and Stonnington.
Every time you replace an incandescent globe with an energy-saving globe, you use 80% less energy and of course reduce your energy bills dramatically.
Darebin residents will soon receive a flyer with more information outlining the offer, and will simply need to call 1300 855362 to arrange an installation. For more information go to livegreen.com.au
Phase 1 of the project resulted in just over 500,000 energy-saving light globes being installed into more than 28,000 homes. This is equivalent to taking over 6,600 cars off the road for good and producing more than $50million in reduced energy bills over the life of the globes.As ambassadors for the Live Green project, this is not the only demonstration of the Northern Bullants green credentials. The club also supports the City of Darebin's Going Places program and in a major partnership with Metlink the club encourages the use of public transport. BULLANTS' SUPERCOACH LEAGUE
The Round 13 Match of the Round proved to be a tight contest with Ash Brown's 'Alan Toovey Time' beating Dylan McMahon's 'Raines' Razorbacks' 2,200 to 2,145. Dylan finding it tough to beat Ash Brown with no Gary Ablett in his side scoring 206 points.
In another big match Martin Pike's 'Maps13' seems to be hitting some form scoring 2,294 to beat Bullants GM Garry O'Sullivan and his 'Chimps' who scored 2,135.
The top five seemed to have cemented their positions in the final eight whilst 6th, 7th and 8th positions still look a little shaky with Martin Pike and David Boundy scoring some big points sitting just outside the eight.
Round 14 sees three big matches, the first being for fourth spot with a clash between Phiv Demetriou and Mel Polla both sitting on 28 points. Of course with the double chance come finals time, this is a crucial match. Two other matches will have a big impact on the final eight with Andre Gianfagna (6th) taking on Martin Pike (9th) and Jason Saddington (8th) taking on Jaclyn Amoroso (10th).
