The NAB Northern Bullants Football Club is in a unique position to provide sponsors with great value for their sponsorship investment.
A number of factors provide sponsors with the great value for sponsorship at this level of VFL Football:
- The NAB Bullants are affiliated with the Carlton Football Club in the AFL. This means that each week our team is made up of a dozen Carlton-listed players and hence we attract a large amount of support from Carlton members/supporters. In addition any sponsorship with the NAB Northern Bullants Football Club has the opportunity to be exposed in Carlton communications.
- The NAB Northern Bullants are one of only two VFL clubs in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, the other being Coburg, this allows us to have access to supporters spreading from Northcote right through to Epping and to Whittlesea. The club has a great sized catchment area for VFL football and the club is actively looking to engage this rapidly developing region.
- NAB Oval (Preston City Oval) is home to a number of many sporting clubs and holds a few different community events ensuring sponsors are exposed to the greater community. During football season the oval is used by: NAB Bullants (VFL), Northern Football League matches, Northern Knights (TAC Cup U/18), Preston Junior Football Club (Yarra Junior Football League) and the Local Auskick Centre. During the summer months NAB Oval (Preston City Oval) is home to the Preston Cricket Club and to community events such as a movie night, which is run in conjunction between the Bullants and Preston Central.
- The club has developed a strong working relationship with the Northern Football League, which will synergise football in the north. This relationship will see NAB Oval as the centre for football excellence in Melbourne's north. The club is working towards securing high profile regular season NFL matches at NAB Oval to complement its hosting of the NFL Finals series. With finals attendances in 2008 reaching an estimated 19,000 people over the course of 6 matches, this presents a fantastic opportunity for NAB Bullants sponsors.
- The club has been awarded $1.4 million in funding to improve the facilities at NAB Oval. This funding has also been supported by AFL Victoria who have also committed $200,000. With more funding likely the project will ensure the club's place in the region and continue to put its sponsors in a fantastic position to be exposed to the community.
